Project Schedule Management In Plastic Mould Development

This thesis thoroughly focus on the problem about project schedule management in mould plant. With the trait of the mould in electronic manufacture and the experience of the author, We adopt the project management method to study the mould schedule control and attempt to carry on the accuracy control to the mould development project.There are two important tache in mould development process: mould design and mould manufacture. We have an analysis on these two tache and breakdown the work in mould development project. We use project software to make the mould project development project‵s Gantt chart and net diagram.We find out the bottleneck working procedure in main work path: mould core and insert machining is the time limit for mould development project and has a very tremendous influence.Use the process analysis method and the work parallel idea, we adjust the workpiece‵s machining process to avoid the bottleneck .Then we have a settled method with the information exchange system in Foxconn.Now we have reduce 3～5 work days in mould development project.thereby enhance the new product‵s competition in the market.During the first period of mould development, the later working procedure workmates can review the mould design and manufacture issue and give some advice under DMPS(Decision-making Process System) . The database of DMPS can be memory and afterwards the same mould development can follow it. Under the work parallel idea we can reduce 2～3 work days in mould design. We adjust the workpiece‵s machining process to avoid the bottleneck by MPIS(Mould Production Information System). Efficiency raise 30% after tool mend outside CNC machine under TMMS(Tool Mend Management System).Color management is applied in machining workpiece and the workpiece tolerance is controlled in order to avoid waste of precision.It is our object to control mould development schedule through the instrumentality of the mould project management. Especially the process analysis of mould design and mould manufacture when we find out important factors about improving mould machining process. We give an practicable solution imaginable in orde to make our regular customer satisfy under ODM pattern. Now we carry out PLM system .PLM just like a line make all systems in series and all systems function very well.
