In this paper, the author analyzed the basic theory on the water resistance performance of the building gypsum products at first, and from that the author concluded the methods which are now used in the world to improve the water resistance performance of the building gypsum. And second, the author mixed the different admixtures, mineral powders and fibers with the gypsum-based materials, from three kinds of tests the author found out the best mix proportion of the high strength water resistance gypsum in this three conditions. The conclusions just as follows:Mixing the m-fiber and n-fiber into the high strength gypsum, heated at 70℃, and keep water saturation at least 24 hours, the author realized that the m-fiber could do better than n-fiber for improving the performance of gypsum. When the quantity of the m-fiber reached to 20g, the best mix proportion can be achieved. Under the same conditions, using 20g m-fiber, also mixed with resin b and c, the author found out that resin b could do better than resin c in improving the performance of gypsum. The best mix proportion is mixing 20g m-fiber, 100g b-resin, and 15g e-acid into 1000g high strength gypsumUsing the high strength gypsum as the main raw material, and mixing with FS-WG water-repellent admixture to test the mechanical propertie and water resistance performance of the gypsum, the author realized that the bending strength. ane the compressive strength of the gypsum could be improved, the water absorption could be reduced, and the softening modulus can be increased obviously when the 1% of the water-repellent admixture were mixed with the super 2.0-gypsum.In order to improve the strength and flexibility of the gypsum, and meanwhile to reduce its brittleness, the author mixed fibers into the gypsum-based materials. By testing the mobile value, bending strength, softening modulus and flexibility value of the gypsum specimen, the author studied the effect of the fibers on the mechanical propertie and water resistance performance of the gypsum. And also conclued that the HVF12 fiber could improve the performance of the gypsum markedly when the quantity of the fiber reached to 3%.
