Cashew is a kind of nut has abundant nutritional value and industrial value, and is widely planted in the world with great production. However, cashew processing industry can not meet the actual needs. To improve cashew production, taking the road of mechanical shelling is the major way. Therefore, in order to meet the needs of cashew shelling machine and the shelling of cashew nuts at all levels to define the tool stroke, there need cashew classification. Through domestic and international status and classification methods were compared, roller grader was selected; through theoretical analysis, cashew state was obtained in roller; samples were measured by analysis of cashew nuts, cashew calculated for classification of the sieve size. In order to reduce the classification of mixed-level rate of cashew and improve the classification efficiency, there need to research the structural factors affecting cashew grading factors and working conditions of experimental, to identify affected cashew grading the main factors affecting the trends and optimal operating parameters for cashew grading machine structure design and operating parameters to provide a theoretical basis for selection.Through the state of motion and the force analysis of roller, roller speed range was analyzed. Using self-made test equipment and use natural selected cashew as test samples, select the orthogonal test method to study the first and second grade cashew respectively. And established the regression model of the various factors with the mixed-class rate,classification efficiency through the methods of mathematical statistics. Through orthogonal experiment,obtained the result of the sieve length is the most important affecting factor of first-class rate of mixed-level, the efficiency of rotation number is the most important affecting factor of the first level classification. The first stage of the comprehensive test parameters are: while the sieve length of 18mm, speed 9.98r/min, rotation number of 100, the first-level classification results are relatively the best. Mixed level at this time was 7.2%, 75% efficiency rating. The efficiency of rotation number is the most important affecting factor of second-class rate of mixed-level, the sieve length is the most important affecting factor of the second level classification. The second stage of the comprehensive test parameters are: while the sieve length of 21.1mm, speed 9.98r/min, rotation number of 100, the first-level classification results are relatively the best. Mixed level at this time was 3.7%, 88.3% efficiency rating. Regression equation reflected the relationship of the test parameters and mixed-class rate, classification efficiency really and effectively. And provide a theoretical basis for the follow-up work.
