Study On "the Booming ShanXi Province By Ecology" Taking The Theory Of Ecological Crisis As The Theoretical Basis

As human beings are more relied on the natural recourses and have a larger exploration of them, the ecological environment has affected human beings to a larger extent. In present years, many ecological problems which can not be overlooked appear continuously, while the economic society develops. To some extent, these problems obstruct the society from developing and the economy from growing. All of those problems have attracted people's attention. This is how Ecological Marxism came into being in the 1970s, and has the ecological crisis theory one of its most important theories.Ecological Marxists regard that the ecological crisis is mainly resulted from the employment of science and technology in the capitalist way, production in the capitalist way, the concept of controlling the nature, and consumption alienation. In fact, a general look at the various ecological problems tells us that the political policies and other social politics all relate to economic crisis closely besides the reasons mentioned. With the fast development of the global economy, ecological crisis not only exists in the capitalism, but also in the socialism society. So China is facing the same tough problems of ecological crisis.General-Secretary Hu Jintao pointed out at the 17th national congress that "in the coming years, we will promote a conservation culture by basically an energy-and resource-efficient and environment- friendly structure of industries, pattern of growth and mode of consumption. Awareness of conservation will be firmly established in the whole of society." These words show that we have got a clear understanding of the ecological problems caused by the rapid development of economy in our country, and that we have got an accurate realization of the scientific development. Shanxi province, as one of the most important industrial bases, keeps on consuming much recourses and polluting the environment seriously, when she is developing her economy. So it's necessary for the province to solve the problems. In November 2009, the Shanxi government raised up the strategy of booming the province by ecology. With this accurate understanding of the ecological crisis, the deed of changing the bad ecological situation under the guide of the positive policy is of great significance for Shanxi's harmonious and scientific development.This paper objectively probes the concrete ecological crisis which occurs in the process of the present development of Shanxi province. It discusses the strategic significance and the great influences of the strategy of booming Shanxi province by ecology on the basis of the theory of the ecological crisis. And then it explores the ways Shanxi can employ to improve her ecological society harmoniously and the positive effects with the theory of the ecological crisis, and provides effective ways to help the province get a scientific and sustainable development.The first chapter of this paper illustrates the goal and the significance of this study. It briefly introduces studies of this direction both at home and abroad and explains the methodology of this study and its innovation in details. The second chapter introduces the theory of the ecological crisis of the Ecological Marxism firstly and the background of its production, and then analyzes the reasons in four aspects:ways to employ science and technology, conscious attitude, capitalist way of production and consumption alienation, and generalizes the combination and progressive meaning with Marxist Dialectics. The third chapter lists the main ecological problems in the process of the economic development in Shanxi, and explores the reason of the crisis based on the theory of the ecological crisis. Except the historical demonstration and the unreasonable industrial structure, backward in technique and the people's lack of ecological awareness is the leading reason, which is the beginning of the study of the strategy of booming Shanxi province by ecology. The fourth chapter analyses progressively the strategy from four perspectives to explain the significance we put the strategy into practice, which was beginning with its background of production. At last, the paper comes to the conclusion that the strategy of booming Shanxi province by ecology is a necessity for Shan Xi province to develop her ecological economy in an all-round way in the future. The fifth chapter explores the acceptable measures the province can take in the process of booming the province by ecology with the theory of ecological crisis of Ecological Marxism, and give some advices for overtaking the problems ----how to get rid of the ecological crisis and improve the ecological environment to reach the goal of developing the ecological society well.
