Jingdezhen is the world-renowned millennium porcelain, the kiln workers had been good at inheriting and invonation and had created so many unique porcelains promoted from the kilns in the ancient times. However, with the development of modern industrial revolution, the porcelain technology and innovation in Jingdezhen slow down; the level of design managemnet greatly gets behand; the products face enormous challenges. The paper has learned the theory results and explored the establishment of the system of design managerment consistent with Jingdezhen ceramic products from the perspective of the innovation design of products.In this paper, firstly, the current status of Jingdezhen ceramic industry and design were analyzed, then three aspects: the design strategy of Jingdezhen ceramic products, the design project management and the product management were made in-depth analysis; in the end, Jingdezhen Ceramic design strategic was cleared that-take the brand development route. In the aspect of product design management, the designers from different disciplinary must be integrated and made the flexible work and managemnet modes according to the personality of different teams. In the aspect of the development process of new products, the comprehensive development approach that"user as the center"to new products was proposed and then captured the market through the series of product design. In the aspect of the project evalution of the product design, the new product evaluation system that "respect for professionalism, the weighted score" was established and then stengthen the right to speak of the professional persons in charge of their respective areas of factor and the macro-judgment of co-ordinator of the product development and design program. In the aspect of the image managerment of products, the way to design and managerment of the product's shape, color, quality and other are discussed in the clear of brand mission, product value, product style.The author hopes that the research and exploration in the paper has some significance to Jingdezhen Ceramic corporation in the practical and theoretical aspects of the brand strategy, and resulting in highlighting the status and value of the porcelain products in millennium porcelain—Jingdezhen.
