| Foundry is very important basic industry that is in relation to the development of manufacturing to the whole country. With the development of productivity, there are more requirements to foundry now. The technology for computer simulation casting is starting in this background and then used in practical production. Post-processing module plays the role which connects users and calculation-results. The main task of post-processing module is displaying pictures for the results to make users get informations vividly. So users can judge the quality of the gating system. The quality of post-processing module directly relates to the displaying of calculation results, the using and promotion of the software. This paper mostly researches post-processing technology for computer simulation casting by Visual C++ and corresponding ways.This paper reseaches the post-processing development on the basis of grid-partition by OpenGL. The process of filing processing is important displaying parts during the post-processing module. This research has succeeded in analog by using pictures, with the analysis of the document format on flowing field and temperature field. Moreover, it is necessary to display the outline of the casting and the objective data on the interface. Then synthesizing the displaying results may get the needing ones.When the post-casting shows, this paper deals the foundry entities with zooming, translation and rotation to make users observe them from every angle. In addition, displaying the results to the form of animation will greatly increase the effect of post-processing. And this will show out the whole filling process clearly. The tracking to the grid cells will help users analyze whether there is flaw all not.This paper maily adds the interface of post-processing module. And the paper simulates the process of filling. Then it tracks the temperature of grid cells. All the results is useful. There is important value to the future relevant researches.
