Because of the scarcity of water and water pollution, the country with the advanced water treatment technology or not has become a national production, living standards and an important symbol of civilization. As the development of water treatment technology, people give more and more notice to the water treatment flocculants. Flocculants have been applied to many industry regions, cationic polymeric flocculants have good application in water treatment, paper manufacture, smelt mineral and so on. Therefore, to explore efficiently and multi-function polymeric cationic flocculants is vital significances in the field of water treatment.Based on the analysis and generalization of existent macromolecular cationic organic flocculants preparation and flocculation property research, regarding the chain of PAM as main chain, then on the amido formaldehyde and diethylamine (1,2-ethylenediamine) occur amine graft reaction under the alkaline conditon, and gain the cationic organic macromolecular flocculant DPAM (EPAM). Based on the experiment research, the optimum condition of synthesis was obtained and the synthetic mechanism also was discussed in the paper. With optimum synthetic condition, the molecular weight of novel flocculants is greater than 5,000,000 and function of product is stable.According to the water body charcaceristic of high turbidty of water and emulsifying wastewater, we explored the mechanism of cationic organic macromolecular flocculant and gained the optimum_folcculant condition in experiment research, and compared with the processing result of PAM and EPAM. The result indicated:compared with PAM, the disposal effect of cationic organic macromolecular flocculant is better and the cationic flocculant DPAM is best.In the experiment we used the PAM and DPAM to process high turbidity of water and oil wastewater respectively and compared. The experriment used the high turbidity of water (300ml turbidity 250) as object, with DPAM processing dosing is 0.7ml, the removal efficiency of turbidity achieve 99.8% and the remaining turbidity only is 0.5; with PAM processing dosing is 2.5ml, the removal efficiency of turbidity achieve 95.9% and the remaining turbidity only is 10.34. Through comparing the synthesis of flocculant that DPAM is not only less dosing but also trestment effect significantly, and the water after treatment satisfied with the minimum turbidity limit of The Standards for Drinking Water Quality. The experriment used the oil wastewater (200ml COD 1067mg/L) as object, with DPAM processing first dosing is 2.5ml, second dosing is 1.5ml, the removal efficiency of COD achieve 55.74% and the remaining COD is 472 mg/L; with PAM processing first dosing is 5ml, second dosing is 3ml, the removal efficiency of COD achieve 48.6% and the remaining COD is 548 mg/L. Through comparing the synthesis of flocculant that the dosing of DPAM only is one half of PAM, but the removal efficiency of COD above seven percentage points. The water after treatment accorded with the Discharge standard for municipal wastewater so the secondary effluent can discharge into urban sewer system directly.Through the synthesis of amine flocculant performance and application, the results show that the cationic organic macromolecular flocculants'water treatment properties improved, and at the same time its side chain of polyacrylamide and lively hydrogen can had Mannich reaction and generated the cationic organic macromolecular flocculants. This study provides clues for flocculants structure and performance. This article through the experiment with PAM and DPAM, the results show that the cationic organic macromolecular flocculants have practical application prospect in high turbidity of water and oil wastewater.
