In the process of continuous rolling, it is the interstand tension that keep mass flow balance law of rolled-piece among stands, So how to ensure the stable tension controlling is a key to technology for continuous rolling process.Taking 1850mm aluminum strip two stands tandem cold mill as the background, This paper researches deeply many factors affected the tension and that how to improve stability and rapidity of the tension controlling.Firstly, this paper introduces in detail the technology process and control system for the actual projects on 1850mm aluminum strip two stands tandem cold mill, on this basis, the study focused on the tension control system has been analyzed in detail. And analysis the indirect tension control in detail, and then gives some important compensation formulas, such as dynamic torque, dynamic current compensation and coil diameter calculation.For the basis differential equations, this paper takes the rolling speed changes when plastic deformation, the former slide, and lag of the motor speed from tension torque into account, and then improves the basic tension of differential equations, based on this, this paper derives multi-input, single output dynamic mathematical model of tension control, and then proceed tension control simulation according to engineering designed methods. It is difficult for the two stands aluminum rolling mill tension changes to maintain the stable tension.Aimed at specific two stands aluminum rolling mill tension control, this paper proposes adaptive control strategies in accordance with parameter change of controlled plant, and designs a fuzzy neural network adaptive PID controller. In force, according with integral absolute error and the maximum sensitivity as a criterion function and constraints, calculation controller parameters through pole placement off-line, online change revise PID parameters according to measurable system parameters. Simulation results show that this control method have a advantage of controller parameters rapid setting, and can adapt to two rack aluminum mill real-time control requirements.
