According to the problems of high water cut and serious sand production in unconsolidated sandstone oilfields, Water Plugging and Sand Control Integration Technique was proposed. The technology will combine water plugging and sand control into one unit, make the job program simple and operation cost is low. This paper simulated reservoir physical parameters changes of water saturation, porosity and permeability under different sand production rate by sand packs displacement test. Experimental results show: on the condition of same particle size, with the increase of sand production, the corresponding increase of porosity and permeability, complex change in water saturation. The experiment also found that there existed a critical particle size, when the particle size was greater than the critical value, sand production impacted on water saturation obviously, when less than the critical value, the affection was weak. The gelling time and gell strength and compression strength were as the main evaluated index and optimize formula by Compartition of Gel Strength, BV value device and viscosity measurement. Investigate the effect of polymer concentration, crosslinker concentration, temperature, and surfactant on the performance of the water plugging and sand control system. Based on the results of indoor test and development characteristics of the Gudao oilfield, On-site tests of Water Plugging and Sand Control Integration were carried out in GD2-25N508 Well, GDX6XN3 well, GDX6X403 well of Gudao oilfield. On-site test results and evaluation would be tracked.
