The electrical submersible progressing cavity pump(ESPCP)has prevailed widely in the oil extraction industry for its particularity, small energy consumption, limited covers. However, there is no proper working condition diagnosis procedure for the date acquisition and analysis of underground pump , which has reduced production efficiency and limit the promotion of ESPCP.Based on the down hole data acquisition, data acquisition was analyzed after the treatment, and according to the actual requirements of the condition of the oil well electric submersible screw pump,the diagnostic methods was studied.By introducing the system composition and working principle of the screw pump the paper analyzed the data acquisition and processing, through data collection and processing for extending the parameters of screw pumps working conditions and methods of diagnosis. Good working condition to determine the diagnosis of the lock screw the required parameters and to carry out a series of analysis.The design use reasoning method to diagnosis. According to the state and the system parameters of the relationship, especially after many of the analysis of electric submersible screw pump, through the logical way to determine the design rules out the inference condition.The analysis shows that the methods can determine whether there will be common issues for electric submersible screw pump in the future use and development foundation.
