The research of injection molding virtual simulation system is a research hotspot in the field of injection molding, which offers new methods and means for the operation of injection machine and the training of the knowledge of injection molding training. After a more in-depth research on system architecture, an injection molding virtual simulation system with practical application value, which is based on the prototype of the injection molding virtual simulation system, is designed and developed.The platform of virtual simulation system is the base of injection molding virtual simulation system, which mainly includes the GUI user interface design, visual simulation and audio simulation, etc. This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the different GUI programs, uses OpenGL rendering graphical user interface, though the custom event message system achieves the interactive between GUI and the users, and realizes a GUI system under the three-dimensional simulation environment including injection molding machine control panel, Article tools, buttons, etc.. At the aspect of sound effect simulation, after systematic analysis of the injection molding process, a sound simulation platform for injection molding virtual simulation is proposed with directsound. And this method provides a high sense of realism and immersion for virtual injection molding machine environment. On the basis of original visual simulation platform, this article analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of different three-dimensional models, and proposes the techniques to improve the effectiveness of visual simulation, including the automatic calculation of the normal vector, which eliminates the "sawtooth" on the surface of injection machine system model, reestablishes the illumination model system and enables the visual simulation closer to the actual.The actual injection molding contains different models of the injection machine and different types of the injection mold. In order to enable the injection molding virtual simulation system more consistent with the real injection molding process, this article gives a analysis of the same and the differences between the typical model and the mold, and realizes the injection molding virtual simulation system with the multi-model and multi-die by extracting the common of a variety of models and molds as the interface.This paper analyzes a variety of deficiencies determining methods, combines the advantages and the virtual simulation requirements, and proposes the defect determining method based on process window to achieve the feedback for the injection pressure and temperature characteristics. This method allows users not only familiar with the injection machine, but also to have a better understanding of how the process parameters impact the products.Evaluation system of the injection molding virtual simulation system is an important tool of assessing how the students grasp the knowledge. Considering about the user action assessment and process parameters settings assessment, a practical test evaluation module is proposed.
