In modern continous casting production, along with the rapid development of automation technology of continuous casting technology, the reliability and billet is more and more strict quality requirements, and mould casting system level control is an important segment, so the mould level control the accuracy requirement become more and more strict. Therefore, unceasingly thorough research mould level control way improving precision level control, to improve the slab output and quality are important economic and social benefits.This thesis in Tianjin pipe corporation No.3 steelmaking plant of mould continuous caster level control system for example, carefully analyzed mould level control system characteristic, in liquid level control existing in the process of nonlinear, dynamicity and delay sexual factors such as interference, conventional PID control mode because of lower controlling precision and robustness of the poor, cannot have satisfied the requirements of production.This article through to a variety of mould level control mode of thorough research, combining the actual no.3 steelmaking plant of Tianjin pipe corporation status design of fuzzy PID parameter self-setting controller, this method combines the PID control mode and the fuzzy control method, the advantages of online to realize PID parameters can be adjusted, make the control system of the fast response, transient time shortens greatly, overshoots decrease, has stronger robustness and stability, especially for nonlinearity existing and dynamicity, time lag and cannot build mathematical model of the control system has good control effect.Based on the design of fuzzy PID parameters control auto-tuning controller based on a simulation experiment was carried out, and the experiment result proves that this controller has small overshoots and transition time is short, the control accuracy higher characteristic, application to the third steelmaking plant of 1# mould, achieved very good level precision control effect.
