Float glass has an important place in the national economy, with the rapid development of the national economy, the country has increasing demand for float glass, while melting is of great significance in the process of producing high quality float glass. After studying necessary equipments in the course of float glass producing, this article carries on the three-dimensional simulation research of float glass furnace, established a position tracking and sensor -controlled interactive simulation model of furnace. The model is based on actual production, and is of great importance to the research to float glass producing. Meanwhile, it provides a virtual platform for optimization to control strategy. This article introduces problems of existing PID control furnace temperature control system, proposes the fuzzy control concept, apply fuzzy PID control to float glass furnace temperature control system, compare fitting curve of furnace system real-time data in fuzzy PID control with that in existing PID control. Fuzzy PID temperature control strategy is proved to improve the accuracy and rapidity in course of temperature control.Firstly, describes the technology and characteristics of float glass, analyzes development situation of float glass industry, makes a brief analysis of the feasibility of the combination with simulation technologies and float furnace. Secondly, starting from the virtual reality technology, introduces the development and 3D modeling engine development process, using 3DMax Software to develop three-dimensional engine and 3D design modeling based on Open Graphics Library. Implements a float glass furnace system based on VR technology.Then, as a result of the existing furnace problems using PID control, fuzzy control theory is proposed, combine it with traditional PID control, elaborate the feasibility and superiority of fuzzy PID control. Research on the simulation using Matlab software, describes the implementation of advanced control algorithm. At last, apply fuzzy PID control to float glass temperature control simulation system, elaborate on the main, auxiliary temperature control system for controlling process, using least squares curve fitting to furnace temperature data along the vertical line, compares the data with the real-time data of furnace system under fuzzy PID and traditional PID control algorithm, embodied the superiority of fuzzy PID control algorithms.
