The aluminum electrolytic capacitor has become one of the irreplaceable electronic components, because of its high voltage, miniaturization , light weight, high specific capacitance and low price. The main material of electrolytic capacitor is aluminum foil, and the method what can make capacitance increased, volume minified, weight lightened is an important subject.The research which make full use of favorable rare earth resources in Inner Mongolia develop RE aluminum foil of electrolytic capacitor. It can increase the content of cube texture by putting into Ce or changing heat treatment. This method can increase surface area under the condition of constant volume and then the capacity is increased.The high pure aluminum foil and Re aluminum foil of different Ce content are materials in this paper. The microstructure and texture of high pure aluminum foil and Re aluminum foil after cold rolling and recrystallization annealing of different temperatures are analyzed by microcope, EBSD and X-ray. The evolution of texture are studied, and the influence of different RE content, different recrystallization temperatures, rolling lubricants to microstructure and texture are researched.The results showed that the aluminum foils in intermediate annealing only have recovery without recrystallization after hot rolling; The beginning recrystallization temperature of high pure aluminum foil is 185℃after cold rolling, and the beginning recrystallization temperature of RE aluminum foil with 0.01% Ce content is 240℃; The low angle grain boundary reduced gradually and the high angle grain boundary increased gradually with annealing temperature increased; There is arbitrary orientation in nucleation, and then the content of cube texture increased by preferential growth; Ce can refines the aluminum foil after the same recrystallization annealing temperature with the content in 0.004%-0.01%; The content of cube texture would increase when adding intermediate annealing and putting into rolling lubricants after the same recrystallization annealing.
