The high performance,miniaturization, namely high specific capacitance of the aluminum electrolytic capacitor is the current development tendency. Enhance the electrolytic capacitor aluminum foil's specific capacitance by means of the rare earth micro alloying, which can making full use of favorable resources and enhance the competitive power of the related products. The specific capacitance of the electric capacitor is related to the content of the cube texture. So it's necessary to study the effect of trace Re on the structure and texture in electrolytic capacitor aluminum foil.This research take Re aluminum foil of different Ce content and high pure aluminum foil as main subject investigated. Through homogenizing annealing,Hot rolling,Intermediate annealing,Cold rolling,Recrystallization annealing, aluminum foil be made into 0.11mm thick. Then study the microstructure and the texture of the aluminum foil by means of Axiovert 25 metallographic microscope,the CHANNEL-5 EBSD system of the QUANTA400 environmental scanning electronic microscope and the PHILIPS PW1700X diffraction instrument.And also study the hardness of the aluminum foil by means of Leica microdurometer.At last the formation mechanism of the aluminum foil's recrystallization texture has been studied .The results showed that Re can refines the grain of the aluminium ingot,aluminum foil as-rolled and aluminum foil after recrystallization annealing. And also increase the cube texture in the rolling texture and the recrystallization of the aluminum foil. The higher temperature of the recrystallization annealing the more contents of the cube texture . The larger rate of deformation the more contents of the cube texture. The time of the recrystallization annealing has influence on the recrystallization texture when low temperature (250℃) annealing, The content of the cube texture in Re aluminum foil which contains Ce 0.0074% is 89.12%.The proper content of the Re,technology of rolling and recrystallization annealing can enhance the contents of the aluminum foil. This study obtains that the Re aluminum foil which contains Ce 0.0074% has the highest content of the cube texture when the deformation rate is 96.3%, the temperature of recrystallization annealing is 530℃. And then the content of the cube texture is 90%. The formation mechanism of the recrystallization texture is preferential growth theory.
