Now oil development on deviated well, directional well and horizontal well is becoming applied widely, and conventional recovery devices have been unable to fully adapt the new requests. At the time along with the ongoing gas field development, kinds of difficult condition wells (deep well, heavy oil well, high-GOR well) are becoming more and more. In order to adapt the development of these complex condition wells, through the research of this paper, we have developed a new downhole oil development unit-hydraulic driven downhole twin-screw pump.First, flow process of working fluid inside hydraulic driven downhole twin-screw pump oil production system is analysed, and the specific calculation processes on inflow performance, wellbore multiphase flow and pipe axial flow are summarized in detail. Directional well profile design and fluid physical parameter calculation are emphatically introduced to complete wellbore multiphase flow calculation.Second, screw rotor line of twin-screw pump and turbine motor blade profile are researched, the methods of software implementation and solid modelling and computational formulas of twin-screw pump basic parameters are given respectively, and working principle and energy conversion process of turbine motor are also researched.Third, structure design scheme (downhole twin-screw pump concentrated thrust) is employed in this paper, underground units are divided into six submodules whose concrete structures are designed. Turbine thrust module and pump thrust module are introduced emphatically, and design calculation and strength calibration of key components are also given.Last, dynamic fluid circulation system schemes of hydraulic driven downhole twin-screw pump oil production are contrasted, four different downhole fixing types of oil production unit have been designed and are compared with each other. Besides, specific working principles of open cycle casing stationary and open cycle casing freestyle oil production units are detailed.
