TC4 titanium alloy is a typical of two-phaseαandβtitanium alloy,which contains 6% of theα-stable elements of Al and 4%βstabilizing element V. The alloy has excellent performance,which use of its good mechanical properties and process performance,forming various types of components,widely used in aerospace industry. TC4 titanium alloy tube is difficult to produce because of the larger resistance to deformation hardening strong,easy to crack,etc. With the application of titanium in industrial promotion,titanium alloy seamless pipe of the plastic forming process has become a hot topic in the field. Hot extrusion of metal deformation can improve to produce higher overall performance characteristics of the products,hot extrusion is a titanium tube forming an effective method.In this paper,thin-walled titanium tube extrusion forming process,so as to TC4 titanium alloy as the research object to large-scale nonlinear finite element analysis software DEFORM-3D for the simulation platform,through the hot extrusion of titanium alloy process Numerical simulation of hot extrusion of titanium alloy thin-walled tube forming characteristics and deformation.Based on simulation results, the use of a single factor rotation method, the other parameters unchanged, to change a parameter value, analysis of the pipe extrusion process parameters on the impact of screening out the hot extrusion of tubes have a significant effect deformation process parameters. Comparative analysis of extrusion ratio, die angle of die, billet heating temperature, extrusion speed on extrusion pressure, the tube outlet temperature, the blank equivalent stress variation, summed up the best forming process parameters ranges. Analysis by single-factor rotation of the mold shape parameters and process parameters on the Arts and the hot extrusion process extrusion pressure, the optimal process parameters obtained are as follows: extrusion ratio of 8, extrusion speed 50mm/s- 70mm/s, billet heating temperature is 850℃-900℃, the die cone angle 135°, lubricants glass lubricant. Obtained with a recent experimental study of process parameters of extrusion ratio is 3-10, extrusion speed of 50-120 mm/s, consistent with the good. Verify the simulation results of this high degree of accuracy can be used to guide the production practice.In the analysis of the forming tube extrusion process parameters on the characteristics and quality of extrusion on the basis of summed up the best process parameters. Then design of the forming die for the production of titanium alloy tube extrusion applications provides a good theoretical and technical guidance.
