Micro-Abrasive Jet Machining is a processing method, which utilizes the high-speed mixture flow of micro-abasive and high-pressure gas impacting workpiece so that the materials are dislodged. In this thesis, the finite element model of the brittle materials is built, then the process of micro-abasive impacting on brittle materials is simulated, therefore erosive mechanism of brittle materials is analyzed, finally the feasibility is proved by jet experiment, the scope of topics covers:(1)The brittle material model is chosen, and the process of micro-abasive impacting on brittle material is simulated by ANSYS/LS-DYNA.By dealing with the results, not only the erosive mechanism is analyzed, but also the variation discipline of diameter of crater with impacting velocity and sphericity with impacting angle is educed.(2)Based on the correlation theory of hydromechanics, a jet experiment device is designed. After the analysis of gas-solid phase in nozzle, mathematical relation between micro-abasive velocity and gas pressure is presented.(3)The jet experiment on glass is carried out by jet experiment device, and after the comparison between the experiments and simulating results is made, the erosive mechanism of the brittle materials on the process of Micro-Abrasive Jet Machining is analyzed, and influencing disciplines of diameter and sphericity of crater with jet distance, time, pressure, and angle are educed;some patterns are machined and its feasibility is proved.
