For the polishing of complicated structure surface or cavity, abrasive flow processing technology is one of the feasible method, it has many advantages compared with traditional polishing, but some disadvantages are still exist. Softness abrasive flow processing technology is putted forward in this paper, the specialty is abrasive flow with weak viscous in order to achieve better flow property, it can attain better processing effect when realize the motion of turbulence.The effect of softness abrasive flow processing is decided by its flow property, in order to analyze the property, establish double-fluid model based on granular kinetic theory. Granular kinetic theory considers the collision between particles, derives the particle's stress, describes the closed equation of particle flow. Double-fluid model regards particle as a continuous pseudo-fluid, in the same point two phase treat as coexistence, follow its momentum, quality and energy transfer equation respectively, two phases are coupled.This paper studies the cut effect of spherical particle impact on the ductile material, use LS-DYNA for calculation of material destroying process. Simulation results show that the micro cutting is more when abrasive particle impacting wall with certain angle. Describing the characteristics of material remove by wear rate, the wear rate is aggrandizing with the increasing of particle velocity, impact number and particle diameter.Softness abrasive flow processing is aiming mainly at small size structure, so this paper selects the typical gap passageway. Use double-fluid model base on granular kinetic theory to calculate. Simulation show that granular pressure and velocity is aggrandizing along the flow direction, solid-liquid two-phase flow is strength turbulence according to the theory of turbulence intensity, particle collision degree can be analyzed by the conception of granular temperature.Spray three layers of paint with different colors on the surface of workpiece, wear of paint reflects effect of softness abrasive flow processing. Collocate two different restraint component to the same workpiece. Results of experiment show that configuration of restraint component 1 make better processing effect, reflects the delication and randomness of surface in softness abrasive flow processing.
