At present, most of the stamping process of our country still adopts the way of manual feeding and taking parts, far from meeting the industrial needs of today’s high-speed development. Therefore, it is the key point of manufacturing industry in our country to realize the automation of mass production by stamping automatic production line. Based on the NTC80 punch and manipulator, the paper studies and develops a high efficiency and low cost small stamping automatic production line.According to the process and requirements of the production line, the paper designs and develops the NTC80 stamping automatic production line. Fristly, the production line includes unstacking unit, oiling unit, feeding unit and punch unit are designed, it’s production layout and production process of single line mode are studied, the production rhythm and overall control scheme of the production line are determined. Secondly, using modular design ideas, of the various functional modules of the feeding manipulator are divided and detailed designed. It’s rationality of the design is verified through the ADAMS dynamic simulation analysis. On the basis of the production and processing of non-standard parts and the selection of standard parts, the assembly and debugging work of the manipulator is finished. After the structure design of the manipulator is finished. Through the scheme design of the pneumatic system and PLC control system of the manipulator, the hardware selection of the system and the design of the hardware circuit are completed. At last, for the production line PLC control system completed the work including software design, MODBUS communication, man-machine interface and program editing etc.Through line running and debugging of stamping production line, the feasibility of the overall structure and control scheme of the production line is proved, the development of the manipulator is characterized by fast speed, stable operation and accurate positioning, the production line reached the expected functional requirements.
