In thesis, it firstly start with the artistry of the Mingshi furniture and set forth their connction with the art on sculpt, stuff and ornament, especially explore the artistic conception of the Mingshi furniture by the Chinese painting. Secondly, it proceed with the effect on the West furniture of the Mingshi furniture and expound the two different material and category of the hardwood and bamboo furniture to establish the status of Mingshi furniture in the world. Thirdly, it begin with the inspiration of the Mingshi furniture to the design of the contemporary's and explain the production culture to get the revelation. At last, it gets the approach in improving the level of the furniture industy by researching the actuality and combining the inspiration of the contemporary's design.
