The Design Of Truck Driving Stability Monitoring System Based On LabVIEW

In recent years, there are more and more truck roll-over accidents, which have a very bad effect on road traffic. The driving safety and stability monitoring system designed in the paper can be used to monitor and alarm the truck driving stability full-time in order to guarantee the truck driving safety and stability.Four primary causes that contribute to truck roll-over are studied in the paper, and a mechanical model for truck driving stability is established which is rational to the whole monitoring system. Then we develop the criteria of truck driving stability and monitoring system. Using the criteria and the mechanical model, the system can analyses the status of the truck and offer driving information to the driver.. According to the requirements of the subject, the driving safety and stability monitoring system based on Lab VIEW is developed, which can get the position of truck centroid and analyze truck moving status. Finally, the reliability of driving safety and stability monitoring system based on LabVIEW is verified through simulation tests.
