The by-product of iron and steel enterprises - blast furnace gas and coke oven gas is very important secondary energy, but a lot of iron and steel enterprises in China, the recovery rate is very low and gas emission serious. In recent years, in order to reduce environmental pollution, save energy and reduce electricity costs, an increasing number of iron and steel enterprises added the blast furnace gas and coke oven gas into the boiler together with the coal co-firing power generation, and achieved good results. For example, Wuhan Iron and Steel Company-owned power plant blended with blast furnace gas and coke oven gas in the case of lean coal combustion, both to reduced gas emissions from power plants owned Wuhan Iron and Steel, but also improved the economics of plant operation, and protected the environment. But this changed the environment of the combustion boiler, impacted the burning of coal and ultimately may affect the steam temperature, steam flow, flue gas temperature and boiler thermal efficiency, making a series of boiler parameters change, thus affecting the safety and economy of the boiler. We carried out the experimental study of co-firing of the three kinds of fuel on a 200MW boiler in the Wuhan Iron and Steel Company-owned coal-fired units, input different proportions of blast furnace gas and coke oven gas, tested and analyzed the impact law of solid and gaseous fuel combustion of different heat value on furnace temperature in a stable load by flame image detection method, and analyzed the changes of the unit main parameters in different condition, and regulation can be targeted different types of fuel input, provided a reference for rationally organization of different types of fuel combustion under the condition of the furnace.
