The vibration of motorcycle is an important and troublesome problem in motorcycle industry by now. JH125 motorcycle shows severe vibration problem, which is more obvious in the range of 3500r/min to 4500r/min. The frame is an important part of motorcycle, and it's quality determines the performance of motorcycle.Based on Finite Element Method (FEM) and vibration theory, this paper applies software ANSYS to build the dynamic model of JH125 motorcycle. Based on the model, the vibration response of frame caused by the engine vibrating was simulated and analysed. Because the motorcycle is a complex system, through comprehensive consideration with the load, it brings difficult to the analysis of the frame of motorcycle. According to the improved scheme and the actual construction of the JH125 motorcycle, the scheme was designed, which is better than the original.The research of the paper not only resolved the vibration problem of the JH125 motorcycle , gained economic benefit in a certain extent, , but also reserves a valuable numerical model and relevant technical data for the factory. Meanwhile, the paper uses FEM successfully. Such an attempt is valuable both in academic research and in practical technology.
