This paper is meet with the commands of power system automation teaching. At first, design a soft to analyses the automatic control system under MATLAB. Then, the fuzzy controller is designed in detail, the controller adopts two-dimensional fuzzy controller. Without the fuzzy excitation regulator, have designed the neural network excitation regulator and PID excitation regulator based on Matlab /Simulink. It shows the superiority of intellectual control through the simulation result. And design a linear optimal excitation regulator and a non-linear excitation regulator, use it to one unit – infinite system carry on the simulation experiment under PSB which is designed for the simulation of power system. It is powerful and flexible. To analyses the influence of different aspects. Presents a simulation model of generator parallel running. Give the simulation results of the generator switching-in-network at different conditions. And make a simulation of under frequency load shedding (UFLS). The simulation result is satisfied. The simulation results show that Matlab can not only solve the existing problem, but also greatly improve the quality of teaching. At last I design a generator excitation regulator adopted PID control based on integrated circuit.
