In order to solve the problem of the transmission efficiency of engineering vehicle hydrodynamic-mechanical transmission system degrade largely under heavy load and regard improving transmission efficiency of vehicular automatic transmission as object,the theory and experiment of three parameters was researched around Automatic Transmission Technology in this text. Include the following content mainly: 1. Introduction The characteristics and developmental process of automatic transmission were summarized. The developmental status at home and abroad, and the state of applied in engineering vehicle of all kinds of automatic transmission were introduced. The characteristics of torque converter were studied. Through studying the function of torque converter in vehicular power train and the effect on the working condition of torque converter produced by the change of load, the reason was elicited that the working condition of torque converter moved to low efficiency range from high efficiency range. The significance of studying the automatic transmission technology of engineering vehicle was expounded. The methods were summarized that solving the problem of torque converter working in its low efficiency range. The new method of adopting automation transmission technology was introduced. The key technology of engineering vehicle automation transmission was summarized.2. Study on shift schedule The developmental status and the state of applied on shift schedule of travel of vehicle are introduced, including single parameter schedule,two parameter schedule,three parameter schedule and intelligent schedule used by automobile at present, and then, the difference between operation of engineering vehicle and travel of vehicle was compared, herby explaining that the state of automobile shift schedule can not be applied in engineering vehicle. Then the efficiency shift schedule of engineering vehicle is elicited. Preferences selecting,the theory of shift and the project of automatic transmission control system and characteristics of efficiency shift schedule are set forth in detail. This shift schedule can maintain torque converter working in the range of a limited idealized value under all the working condition expect the left low efficiency range when transmission worked in the lowest shift and the right low efficiency range when transmission worked in the highest shift. 3. Research of the automatic transmission shift schedule The composing of engineering vehicular hydrodynamic-mechanical transmission system is introduced. The models of engine and torque converter were obtained by system identification. The load model of simulation system was obtained by analyzing vehicular diversified running resistance. Kinetic equations of vehicular power train were obtained. Then,the simulation models, which are made up of several subsystem, of vehicular power train and shift control are built based on the package of Matlab/Simulink. At last the simulation experiment has carried on with this software on certain conditions .The simulation results show that efficiency shift schedule can maintain torque converter working in its high efficiency range by transmission shifting. 4. The design and debug of hardware and software on the automatic transmission electronics control system The designs of hardware and software on the electronics control system of the automatic transmission are the key content of this paper, and the main thought of hardware circuit design on the engineering vehicle was systematically explained in an all-round way, and the module method have been adopted in the course of the designing, including the inputting, outputting and ECU units, which simplified the design and debug course through separating the designing of the inputting, the outputting, and ECU units, we briefly state the settlement of hardware and software anti-interference of the control system based on the microprocessor single chip.
