Some native 600MW direct air-cooling units was chosen as the example, in view of serious problems of air-cooling units in running—the unfavorable influence of Environmental Wind, the article proceeds numerical simulation research on exterior flow field of direct air cooling platform with standard k -εturbulent model, and analyzing the effect of different velocity on the performance of air-cooled condenser based on specific direction of wind. Draw lessons from Preparation Plant's experiences installing windbreak net to prevent wind and repress dusts, the article put forward a method erecting windbreak nets under air-cooling platform for lowing velocity of wind flow, analyzing windbreak-effect of windbreak net with different structure property(porosity,size) , and coming to conclusion of the optimal porosity range of windbreak-net for specified model, providing reference basis for structural optimization of direct air-cooling units.
