| According to the technical requirements on slag cooler of 600MW circulating fluidized bed boiler by independent development expert group of the State Development and Reform Commission, a new type of slag cooler——air-water combined slag cooler adopted in high low fluidized bed was investigated based on the technical features of various slag coolers. Cold air flow field and slag particle flow in slag cooler interior region were simulated by CFD commercial software "FLUENT'.Results showed that, two-phase flow of eulerian model in FLUENT could better reflect the dynamic characteristics of Gas-Solid Two-Phase Flow in slag cooler interior region.The results provide reliable evidence for optimization design of slag cooler structure. Further, structure size of slag cooler could be calculated based on the optimization design.
