| Objective:Observation on functional reorganization of the hand area in the motor cortex after muscle atrophy of Hegu modeling,Methods:Inject Botulinum Toxin TypeA in the Hegu area of the Macaque Monkeys’ dominant hand, resulting in Hegu muscle atrophy. Making the physical funtion map of the motor cortex by microstimulation in the motor cortex.Results:The body funtion map of the motor cortex showed the functional reorganization between the thumb and the wrist, but there is no reorganization between hand and face.Conclusion:1. Under the condition of atrophy of muscle in Hegu area the thumb function area will occur functional reorganization with wrist function area in the cerebral cortex.2. Under the condition of atrophy of muscle in Hegu area the hand function area will not occur functional reorganization with face function area in the cerebral cortex. |
