Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy With Comprehensive Treatment Of Cervical And Thoracic Syndrome

[Object]According to the comparative study between the comprehensive therapy based on the manipulation of cervical and thoracic and cervical traction with plaster, to observe their differences in the treatment of nerve root type cervical vertebra clinical efficacy, and to evaluate its therapeutic effect.[Methods]60 patients matched with the inclusion criteria were allocated randomly into treatment group with 30 cases and control group with 30 cases. Treatment group was for cervical and thoracic manipulation based on combination therapy group, and the control group was as cervical traction+plaster groups. Operation:treatment group:cervical pulling and manipulation, acupuncture, cupping therapy. Cervical traction control group received acupuncture+paste therapy. Treatment group therapy need twice a week, three weeks for a course of treatment, and a total of two courses of treatment. Data used statistical software SPSS 17.0 to compare the efficacy differences between the two groups.[Results]1、After a course of treatment, the treatment group:5 cases were cured, markedly effective in 9 cases, effective in 11 cases, ineffective in 5 cases, and the total effective rate was 83.87%;the control group:2 cases were cured,7 cases were markedly effective,8 cases were effective,13 cases were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 58.06%. Treatment group and control group data comparing:Z=-2.080, P=0.038, and there is a significant difference, the total efficiency of the treatment group was significantly higher, after two courses of treatment, the treatment group:6 cases were cured, markedly effective in 11 cases, effective in 10 cases, ineffective in 3 cases, the total effective rate was 90.03%; control group: 2 cases were cured,8 cases were markedly effective,10 cases were effective,10 cases were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 67.74%. Treatment group and control group data comparing:Z=-2.360, P= 0.018, total effective rate of treatment group was significantly higher, the difference was statistically significant.2、Assessment in the figure rating scale (NRS):the treatment group before treatment was with a mean of 6.73±1.00,then with a mean of 4.8±1.66 after a course of treatment, for 3.83±1.64 after treatment for 2 courses; the control group in pre-treatment was with a mean 6.90±0.79, after a course of treatment to 5.63±1.22, after two courses of treatment was 4.83±1.44. Spherical test, p<0.0001, using the adjusted Greenhouse-Geisser correction coefficient, in the groups F=4.79, p=0.0326, there are differences between the Treatment group and control group, because there was no difference in pre-treatment, according to the mean effect of the changes we know that the efficacy of Treatment group is better than Control group. There are differences within the group F=143.81, P<0.0001, so there is better efficacy than that of pre-treatment after 2 courses of treatment.3、In the score table of the results of treatment of Cervical spondylosis, the treatment group before treatment was with a mean of 16.03±2.64, after a course to 20.13±4.03, after two courses to 22.1±3.15; control group before treatment was with a mean of 16.33 ±2.10, after a course of treatment for 18.1±3.38, after two courses for 19.53±3.44. Spherical test, p=0.0003, using the adjusted Greenhouse-Geisser correction factor, F=3.300 P=0.0746, under the level α=0.01, so there are differences between the AB groups, and because there are differences within the groups F=142.13, P<0.0001, there is better efficacy than that of pre-treatment after 2 courses of treatment.[conclusions]1、The comprehensive therapy based on the manipulation of cervical and thoracic and cervical traction with plaster can effectively treat nerve root type cervical spondylosis.2、The comprehensive therapy based on the manipulation of cervical and thoracic is higher than cervical traction+plaster in the efficacy.
