Objective:Study the quality standard of Xiangqin Jiere Granule further on the basis of former research, establish the identification method of TLCwith scutellariae radix, forsrthiae pogostemonis herba and,artemisiae annuae herba and HPLC method to identify the quantity of baicalin, the forsythin and forsythiaside.Make a draft quality standard of Xiangqin Jiere Granule and accout for it to provide theoreticalb asis for the development of the new drug.Methods:(1) Thin layer chromatography (TLC) Was used to identify the five medicines of the granule, for Scutellriae Radix,Forsythiae Fructus, Pogostemonis Herba and Artemisiae Annuae Herba. The chemical identification method was used to identify calcium salt and sulphate in gypsum.(2)The HPLC was used to determination the content of baicalin,the forsy-thin and forsythiaside.(3) With reference to the Chinese pharmacopoeia2010’s appendix IC of the granule general standard,the results of the checks of this preraration were in line with the related provisions of2010edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia.(4) With reference to the Chinese pharmacopoeia2010’s appendix IX E and IX F, the results of the checks of this preraration were in line with the related provisions of2010edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia.Results:(1) The TLC research:In the research, the TLC atlas of scutellariae radix,forsrthiae and pogostenonis were clera.They all have a good resolution.The chromatographic spots were clear,without interference and easy to recognize.The method was accurate and highly reproducible. It could be used for the quality control of Xiangqin Jiere Granule. The TLC research of artemisiae annuae herba,we select the fluorescence identification method. The chromatographic spots were clear,without interference and easy to recognize.(2) The research of content:establish HPLC method to identify the quantity of baicalin, the forsythin and forsythiaside.In the result everg bag the baicalin do not less than127.45mg, the forsythin do not less than12.99mg, forsythiaside do not less than90.19mg.(3) With reference to the Chinese pharmacopoeia2010’s appendix IC of the granule general standard, the particle,water content,content nuiformity,microbial limite were in line with the related provisions of2010edition of Chinese Pharma-copoeia.Conclusion:The identification method of TLC with scutellariae, forsrthiae and pogostemonis herba, artemisiae annuae herba and HPLC method to identify the quantity of baicalin, the forsythin and forsythiaside were simple,accuate and highly reproducible.They could be used for the quality control of Xiangqin Jiere Granule and could provide an experimentalbasis for this medicine in the process of applying theoreticalb asis for the development of the new drug.
