Study On The Law Of Treating Jaundice With Traditional Chinese Medicine In The Ming And Qing Dynasties

Objective:This study is to apply document and statistical methods, analysis the external treatment of Jaundice in the period of Ming and Qing Dynasty. Preliminary discussion on the rule of compatibility summarized the cure characteristics and the theory of external treatment, expectations for the future external treatment jaundice research to provide the reference.Methods:Collect the clause of the external treatment of Jaundice in the period of Ming and Qing Dynasty. Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria selection drugs, Standardized treatment on the name, type, properties tastes and the meridian of the traditional Chinese medicine, set up the database. Using the statistical software to external treatment methods, site of action, name, type, properties tastes and the meridian of the traditional Chinese medicine for frequency analysis, finally analyze the statistical results combined with traditional Chinese medicine theory.Results:203literatures have been researched in the research, which conformed to the inclusion criteria was about186.7kinds of external treatment methods and10site of action have been recorded,79kinds of traditional Chinese medicine have been used in the literatures, types of medicine was about17. According to the frequency analysis, The most commonly used method are blow nose method(56.45%),topical application of drug (16.13%), infriction (12.37%); The most commonly used positions are: nasal cavity(54.12%)Nnavel(13.40%)、the whole body skin(10.31%)、the abdomen (7.73%); Drug use is very simple, give priority to with single or two herbs, which occupied36.56%、32.26%; Types of herbals are damp-clearing drug, emetic, interior-warming drug, tonify deficiency medicine mainly. The mostly used drugs are:muskmelon pedicel (89times,47.85%), phaseolus calcaratus (47times,25.27%),clove(31times,16.67%);Drugs to give priority to with spleen and stomach, lung.Conclusion:(1) External treatment overview:the mostly used is blow nose method, the function positios is nasal cavity; (2) Medication feature:drug use in very simple, kinds of herbals are very little, types of herbals are damp-clearing drug, emetic, interior-warming drug, tonify deficiency medicine mainly, Drugs to give priority to with spleen and stomach, lung.(3) The cure characteristics:Pathological viscera, Based on spleen and stomach, closely related to the lungs, emphasize damp and hot in pathogenesis, take deficiency-cold in consideration too.
