Purpose:TounderstandthestatusoftraditionalChinesemedicinepaper, andanalyse the effectiveness and safety about Traditional Chinese Medicine onslow arrhythmia, and to provide evidence for clinical medicine, and to instructdoctor, meanwhile, to promote the generalization and application on treatingslow arrhythmia by Traditional Chinese Medicine.Method:To search the randomized or quasi-randomized trials about treatingslow arrhythmia by Traditional Chinese Medicine since1993to2013from CBM,CNKI, VIP, Pubmed database. After selecting documents, collecting information, making quality evaluation on methodology, we can use Revman5.1software offeredby the Cochrane to do the Meta-analysis.Results:The study has31documents, including2694cases of patients. All of31documents are in low quality.Meta-analysis show that:(1)the total ineffectiverate test RR=0.15,95%CI[0.12,0.19],the treatment group of ineffective rate islower compared with the control group, Z=15.89(P<0.00001);(2)the amount ofthe average heart rate test WMD=6.21,95%CI[5.66,6.75],the average heart ratein treatment group is quicker than the control group,Z=22.43(P <0.00001);(3)thetotal24-hour Holter heart rate test WMD=9728.97,95%CI[7265.14,12192.81],thetotal24-hour Holter heart rate in the treatment group quicker than the controlgroup,Z=7.74(P<0.00001);(4) sinus node recovery time test WMD=-89.34,95%CI[-171.54,-7.13],SNRT in the treatment group lower than the control group,Z=2.13(P=0.03);(5)11of31documents have mentioned adverse reactions, accounting for35%, of which2found no significant adverse reactions.Conclusion:1The Traditional Chinese Medicine on the treatment of slow arrhythmia have an effecton reducing the rate of ineffective number and SNRT,improving averageheart rate,24-hour Holter heart rate, because of the high rate of low-qualitydocuments,multi-center studies with large sample well-designed randomizedcontrolled trials is needed.2The quality of controlled trials need to be improved, especially in the samplesize, allocation concealment, blinding, exit and lost, statistical methods, andother aspects of balance between the two groups to attract enough attention;3To provide evidence of the safety of Chinese medicine,we need to pay moreattention on adverse effects of traditional Chinese medicine in future studies.
