Purpose: Basing on the study of existing standards, textbooks and epidemiologicalinvestigation. We suppose to classify the syndromes of ischemia stroke by statistical analysis.Material and method:1.We defined syndromes draft1of ischemia stroke bycomparing and analyzing existing standards of ischemia stroke.2.Basing on the study of textbooks, we defined syndromes draft2of ischemia stroke by usingeconometric analysis.3.Basing on the epidemiological investigation, we defined syndromes draft3of ischemiastroke and each constituent ratio of ischemia stroke.4.Basing on the method of multivariate statistical analysis, combining with three drafts, wedefined syndromes composition, constituent ratio and symptoms of each syndrome.Results:1.From six existing standards, we obtained syndromes draft1of ischemia stroke. They aresyndrome of hyperactivity of liver Yang, syndrome of intermingled wind-phlegm and bloodstasis, syndrome of phlegm-heat blocking internally, syndrome of blood stasis due to Qideficiency, stirring wind due to Yin deficiency, syndrome of wind-heat disturbing the spirit, syndrome of phlegm-heat disturbing the spirit, syndrome of phlegm clouding the spirit andsyndrome of Yuan-Qi collapse.2.We included39textbooks from all the627books which we searched. Then we chose12books with high quality. We defined syndromes draft2of ischemia stroke. They aresyndrome of blood stasis due to Qi deficiency, syndrome of intermingled phlegm and bloodstasis, syndrome of phlegm-heat blocking internally, syndrome of wind-phlegm disturbingspirit, syndrome of collapse, stirring wind due to Yin deficiency, syndrome of wind-phlegmentering the meridian, syndrome of phlegm clouding the spirit, Yang blocked and Yinblocked.3.Combining with three drafts and basing on the method of multivariate statistical analysis,we defined syndromes composition, constituent ratio and symptoms of each syndrome. They are Syndrome of blood stasis due to Qi deficiency:hemiplegia, sluggish speech, numbness oflimb, dizziness, dizzy vision, dark-pale tongue, petechiae or ecchymoses, white fur, fine andrough pulse, fine and weak pulse; Syndrome of stirring wind due to Yindeficiency:hemiplegia, sluggish speech, dizziness, tinnitus, inability to sleep, red tongue, thinfur, string-like, fine and rapid pulse; Syndrome of hyperactivity of liver Yang:hemiplegia, sluggish speech, deviated eye and mouth, numbness of limb, dizziness, headache, dizzy vision, tinnitus, agitation, red tongue, yellow fur, string-like pulse; Syndrome of intermingledwind-phlegm and blood stasis:hemiplegia, sluggish speech, numbness of limb, lose of voice, dizziness, dizzy vision, dark-purple tongue, petechiae or ecchymoses, white-thin fur,white-slimy fur, string-like and slippery pulse; Syndrome of phlegm-heat blockinginternally:hemiplegia, sluggish speech, dizziness, dizzy vision, reddened complexion, abdominal distend, hard bound stool, phlegm, dark-red tongue, yellow-slimy fur, string-likeand slippery pulse; Syndrome of wind-phlegm entering the meridian:hemiplegia, sluggishspeech, deviated eye and mouth, numbness of limb, dizziness, dizzy vision, dark-pale tongue,white-thin fur, floating and rapid pulse.4.We collected963patients who were accord with diagnosis and inclusive standards fromepidemiological investigation. Epidemiological syndromes draft of ischemia stroke is defined, that is syndrome of wind-phlegm entering the meridian(29.91%), syndrome of phlegm-bloodstasis(15.06%), syndrome of blood stasis due to Qi deficiency(8.10%), syndrome of phlegmstasis(3.95%), syndrome of hyperactivity of liver Yang(3.84%), syndrome of liver-kidneyYin deficiency(3.74%).Conclusion:1.Syndrome of blood stasis due to Qi deficiency,Syndrome of stirring wind due to Yindeficiency,Syndrome of hyperactivity of liver Yang,Syndrome of intermingled wind-phlegmand blood stasis,Syndrome of phlegm-heat blocking internally and Syndrome of wind-phlegmentering the meridian are common syndromes of ischemia stroke.2.The results of multivariate statistical analysis and epidemiological investigation arebasically same. It can be used in study of dialectical criteria.
