Retrospective Analysis Of Clinical Efficacy Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Enema In The Treatment Of Chronic Renal Failure

Objective:Collecting the change of general data,laboratorial indicators and symptoms of the non-dialysis patients with chronic renal failure(CRF),evaluating the clinical efficacy and safety of enteroclysis of Chinese herbs on treating CRF by using the retrospective analysis,it is beneficial for improving the quality and prolonging the progress of these patients.Method:The study took the retrospective analysis. From July 2012 to November 2014,the non-dialysis patients with CRF who were hospitalized in the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were consulted.According to selection criteria, one hundred and forty-one patients were elected.They were divided into control group and observation group according to different treatments. The observation group was sixty-nine patients,and the control group was seventy-two.Collecting the change of general data,laboratorial indicators and symptoms from the beginning and the end of the treatment by the case report form of CRF patients. After normal distribution and homogeneity of variance test,all the data were expressed in standard and deviation to mean added or subtracted.Measurement data using t test and nonparametric test,counting data using chi-square test;Level data using Rank sum test.Results:1) The principal Chinese herbs of enteroclysis were Erhuang decoction.It includes DaHuang,HuangQi.2) The clinical efficacy rate of observation group(73.91%)was higher than control group(65.28%)after treatment(P< 0.05). After treatment,the estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR), haemoglobin(HGB) and plasma albumin(ALB) were significantly increased in the two groups,with the observation group increasing more significantly(P<0.05). The serum creatinine(Scr) and blood urea nitrogen(BUN)were significantly decreased in the two groups,with the observation group decreasing more significantly(P<0.05).3) In observation group,these indicators were significantly change in three and four stage of chronic kidney diseases(CKD) but not in five stage of CKD(P< 0.05).4) The kalium(K) was not significantly change in two groups after treatment Just one of observation group patients had stomachache and diarrhea,the others do not feel uncomfortable.Conclusion:1) Combination between enteroclysis of Chinese herbs about Erhuang decoction and conventional treatment has better clinical efficacy in prolonging the progress of CRF by decreasing Scr,BUN, symptoms and increasing eGFR,HGB,ALB.2) Combination between enteroclysis of Chinese herbs about Erhuang decoction and conventional treatment has better clinical efficacy in three and four stage of chronic kidney diseases(CKD) but not in five stage of CKD.
