Radix Morindae officinalis, one of the valuble Chinese herbs in South China,it origin from family Rubiacae Morinda officinalis How.,In Tradicional Chinese Medicine,it is used as reinforcing the kidney yang,to strengthening the tendons and the bones, and relieving rheumatic condition, whichisusedin impotence, seminal emission, infertility, menstrual disorders, pain and cold feeling in the lower abdomen;rheumatic arthralgia;limpness of the legs.Until now,a variety of literature is reported the various components of the root of Morinda officinalis How.But the study of Morinda officinalis’s other parts(such as stem and leaf) are rarely reported.Over the years at Morinda officinalis on basic research, this topic mainly carried out some researches in the following:Section one:Literature studyWe looked many available resources for research,as well as medicinal materials of Morinda officinalis How.and other information on relevant topics. In addition,we summarized Morinda officinalis plants on morphology, herbal medicine research, chemical composition and pharmacological effects.Section two:Experimental studyChapter one:To extract and isolate monotropein from Festuca Morindae OfficinalisThe subject utilized normal silice gel columm chromatograph, combining solutions and recrystallization four compounds were isolated. The structures of two component during them were elucidated with physical and chemical methods and spectrum methods.Them wereβ-Sitosterol and momotropein.Chapter two:Determinate monotropein in different parts of Morindae officinalisThe subject used HPLC to determine the content of monotropein in Festuca Morindae Officinalis, Morinda Officinalis and Folium Morindae Officinalis. The content were 18.1mg·g-1,12.2mg·g-1 and 11.1mg·g-1.Chapter three:The water extraction process oligosaccharides conditions of Festuca Morindae officinalis’s crude PolysaccharidThis experiment used the traditional water extraction to extract the Festuca Morindae officinalis’s crude Polysaccha-rid,mainly on different solvents, extraction temperature,ex-traction time and the liquid-solid ratio on the yield of crude Polysaccharid.General various factors, and in accordance with orthogonal design, accessible the optimum conditions of Morinda officinalis Festuca’s water extraction is:extraction temperature is 85℃, liquid-solid ratio is 12:1,concentrations of ethanol is 70%,extraction time is 90min.
