To discuss on the relationship among the expression of p27, CyclinE,PCNA in endometrial carcinoma. Methods: A total of 48 specimens of endometrial carcinoma, 6 specimens of complex hyperplasia endometrium, 9 specimens of atypical hyperplasia endometrium and 15 specimens of normal endometrium were evaluated by inmmunohistochemical technique with monoclonal antibody for the expression of p27 CycIinE and PCNA.Results: 1. The expression of p27 in normal endometrium was higher compared to hyperplasia endometrium (p<0.05) and endometrial carcinoma (p<0.01). Expression of CycIinE in normal endometrium was lower compared to carcinoma of endometrium(p<0.01). While in normal endometrium, hyperplasia endometrium, endometrial carcinoma, the expression of PCNA increased orderly, andthe expression of PCNA in normal endometrium was significantly lower than that in carcinoma of endometrium (p<0.05). 2. The expression of p27,CyclinE,PCNA all correlated with histodifferentiation of endometrial carcinoma (p<0.05). 3. The expression of CyclinE of stage I and stage II carcinoma of endometrium was significantly lower than that of stagellland stageIV.(p<0.05). The expression of p27 and PCNA have no correlation with clinical stage. 4. The expression of CyclinE significantly correlated with lymphovascular invasion. The expression of CyclinE inendometrial carcinoma with deep lymphovascular invasion was higher than those without lymphovascular invasion (p<0.01). The expression of p27 and PCNA had no correlation with lymphovascular invasion. 5. The expression of p27 correlated with the expression of PCNA in endometrial carcinoma (Rs=0.59 p<0.01). The expression of p27 correlated with the expression of CyclinE in endometrial carcinoma(Rs=0.50 p<0.01).The expression of CyclinE correlatd with the expression of PCNA in endometrial carcinoma(Rs=0.45 p<0.01).Conclusion: 1. The lower expression and the absence of p27 may play an important tole in the genesis of endometrial carcinoma. It may be an early event in the genesis of endometrial carcinoma. 2. The expression of CyclinE may play an important role in the genesis and development of endometrial carcinoma. 3. p27 and CyclinE may affect thegenesis and development of endometrial carcinoma via the way of promoting or inhibiting the proliferation of PCNA. 4. p27 CyclinE and PCNA may provide evidence for the siagnosis, treatment and prognosis of endometrial carcinoma. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | p27, CyclinE, PCNA, endometrial carcinoma immunohistochemical | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
