Inhibiting Effect Of The Juglans Mandshurica Leaves Extracts On Tumor Cells

The alcohol extracts of Juglans Mandshurica , separated with petroleum ether, chloroform, ethyl acetate according the difference of polarity, were studied. The part of ethyl acetate was collected after gel column chromatograph. To check the effect on the proliferation of tumor cells, the drugs were co-cultured with tumor cells in vitro. The results show that the purple-red part has distinctly effect on all tumor line cells, LCso is about 0.6mg/mL. Base on this, the inoculating trial on entity tumor in vivo was finished by hypodermic injection on mouse to check if the purple-red part has the same effect as in vitro. The result demonstrates that it can decrease the size of tumor, among those, the high-dose group can decrease the weight of tumor to 38.2%, and the mid-rose group is 15.3%, even in low-dose one, which can also amount to 9.03%. These results demonstrate that the efficient components of Juglans Mandshurica extract have distinct cytotoxicity on tumor cells, at the same time, which also take effect on tumor tissue in vivo.
