Effects Of H.pylori Eradication And "Liaowei Decoction" On Chronic Lesion Of Hp-associated Chronic Gastritis In Animal

Objective: To establish a better rat model of H.pylori-associated chronic gastritis .Methods: One hundred and twenty two-grade male Wister rats were randomly divided into four groups : model group (H.pylori and MNNG group)(80 rats),control groups I (normal control group) (20 rats) , control group II (H.pylori group)( 10 rats) and control group III (MNNG group)( 10 rats) .The model was induced by H.pylori and N-methyl -N' - nitro-N - nitrosoguanidine (MNNG) . H.pylori planting was examined through Gram staining of grastric mucous smear and rapid urease testing of gastric mucosa . pathological changes of gastric antrum mucosa were graded .Result:(l) H.pylori infection: There was no H.pylori infection in normal control group rats and MNNG group rats ;Ratios of H.pylori infection in H.pylori group and model group were 8 (rat)/9(rat)(88.9) and 7(rat)/10(rat) (70%) respectively .(2) pathologic changes of gastric antrum mucosa: Midst atrophy (2.2+0.42 points) activeinflammation (2.1 + 0.56 points) and chronicinflammation( 2.0 +0.42 points ) were observed in model group rats ,but metaplasia and atypical hyperplasia were not observed . Compared with H.pylori group , there was no significant difference in chronic active inflammation (p>0.05).Compared with MNNG group ( Its atrophy score is 2.1+0.64 points ) ,there was no significant difference in atrophy ( p> 0.05 ). Midst chronic active inflammation was observed in H.pylori group rats, but atrophy was not observed . In MNNG group, lamina propria gland decreased middling with midst chronic inflammation . Normal control group was without pathological change. There were significant differences between H.pylori group MNNG group model group and normal control group in pathology(p<0.05).So it showed that H.pylori played an important pole in the development of chronic active inflammation and that MNNG is correlated with the development of atrophy.Conclusion : The model can model -the characters of H.pylori-associated chronic gastritis , so it can be used to study effect of therapy.
