Clinical Study On Ploysystic Ovary Syndrome Treated By Bushenqutan Decoction With Clomifene Citrate About Promoting Ovulation

Polysystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) is a common gynaecology disease. But there hasn't been a satisfactory method for it. The study observed treatment effectiveness of bushenqutan decoction and clomiphene citrate(CG) on PCOS patients with deficiency of kidney and phlegm stagnation syndrome about promoting ovulation.Ninety cases of PCOS were diveded into three treatment groups: A(n=30)treated by bushenqutan decoction, B (n=30) by CC and C(n=30) by bushequtan decoction and CC for six months. The serum levels of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH), luteinizing hormone(LH), testosterone(T) in all PCOS women and cervical mucus scores were measured before and after treatment.The results showed that LH, LH/FSH, T levels in group C after treatment were significantly lower than before treatment and its effeciency is prior to groups A and B.This clinical study turned out the deficiency of kidney and the phlegm stagnation are the important pathology of PCOS from the point of view of Chinese traditional medicine. Bushenqutan decoction combined with CC can regulate the unbalanced inner-enviroment in PCOS patients and then recuperate their ovulation function.
