| Background: Patients with language disorders are rather common in our country at present, but the personnels to help rehabilitation are far from need. The domestic intellectual products assisting the diagnosis and treatment of language disorders are also insufficient. So the innovation and application of the self-designed Chinese language disorders diagnosis and treatment apparatus ZM2.1 may meet the require.Purpose : 1. To understand the normal fluctuating ranges of function subitems of ZM2.1 diagnosis system by examining the normal adults. 2. To confirm the stability and efficacy of ZM2.1 diagnosis system by examining patients with aphasia .Methods: 1, One hundred and seventeen normal adults were selected to be examined. Among them 20 persons were retested after three weeks, The artificial assessments of marks were given by two examiminers separately , then underwent correlation analysis and consistent tests . Analysis of variance of age, sex, educational level, handedness to find out any influence on the ZM2.1 funtion subitems. 2. Twenty one patients with aphasia were selected as the case group and 21 normal adults with similar backgrounds as the control group. The difference of scores of the ZM2.1 function subitems were compared between these two groups.3. For the 21 aphasic patients, they received both the Aphasia Battery of Chinese (ABC) and ZM2. 1 examination in random order, the key function subitems were analysed relevantly.Results: 1. Statistical difference of educational level and age' s effect on the ZM2. 1 function subitems were observed. The reliability of the retest of 20 normal adults as well as the consistency of the differentexaminers was good. 2. Significant difference of scores of the ZM2.1 function subitems between the normal group and aphasia group were found. ZM2.1 diagnosis system could show the seriousness of aphasia. 3. For the aphasia group, the correlation of ABC and ZM2. 1 examination result was good. ZM2. 1 diagnosis system could screen the aphasia type according to the scores of function subitems.Conclusions: 1. The norm of the ZM2.1 diagnosis system should consider the age and education level. 2. The ZM 2. 1 diagnosis system can differentiate the abnormal language from normal language and screen the type of aphasia effectively. 3. The ZM 2. 1 diagnosis system has good stability and validity and fulfils the essential requirements of aphasia battery and standardizing psychological test. |
