The Study About Accommodation In Pseudophakic Eyes After Two Different Operations

To compare the accommodation in pseudophakic eyes after two different operations , and analyse influence facts of the accommodation, so provide reference to improve clinic operation ways.Method1. To randomly assign the fifty - four patients ( sixty eyes) who wanted to implantation the intraocular lens(IOL) ,and proceeded partly phacoemulsification , foldable intraocular lens implantation ( thirty eyes) and extracapsular cataract extraction,intraocular lens implantation (thirty eyes) by a operator, and after a year to measure the following.2. Measure the refraction ,the corneal culture , the far and near vision when the correcting lens were wore.3. Measure the accommooodation: use HS - 9 D recorder made in Japanese to measuse the near point.4. Observe and record the IOL position.5. Measure the eye pupil diameter and shape using the Haab plank ,and record .6. Measure the depth of anterior chamber: measure the distance from the cornea top to the IOL top.Result1. (MOD) were higher than that of extracapsular cataract extraction , intraocular lens implantation eyes(1.724 1.251 D) ( t=2.718, P<0.05).To deeply study its influence facts;(l) Relations to astigmatism degree:(1) To assign by the astigmation degree: The powers of apparent accommodation between 0 ~ 1. 25D were higher than the others, the differ is obvious.(D The astigmation degree in phaco group (1. 111 0.785D) was smaller than it in ECCE group(2.037 0. 882D) , the differ is obvious (t=4.327,P<0.001).(2) Relations to astigmatism type;(J) Between 0 ~ 1.25 D, the powers of apparent accommodation of astigmatism against rule (2. 885 0.958D) were higher than that of a-stigmatism with rule(2.136 0.989D) (t = 1.868 ,P <0.05).(2) The rate of astigmatism against rule in phaco group (73. 33% ) was higher than that in ECCE group(46.67% ), the differ is obvious (X2=4.44,P<0.05).(3) Relations to IOL position;(J) The powers of apparent accommodation of intraocular lenses locating in the capsule bags (2.485 0.994D) were higher than thatof intraocular lenses set in ciliary sulcis(1.356 0. 816D) , the differ is obvious(t=4.326,P<0.001).(5) The rate of intraocular lenses locating in the capsule bags in phaco group (83. 33% ) was higher than that of intraocular lenses set in ciliary sulcis in ECCE group(53.33% ), the differ is obvious(x2 = 6.24,P<0.025).(H) The fifty - four patients with sixty eyes , whose IOL locating in the capsule bags was forty - one, twenty - five eyes in phaco group, sixteen eyes in EccE, the powers of apparent accommodation in phaco group (2. 732 1. 007D) was higher than that in EccE (2. 100 0. 921D) , the differ is obvious(t = 2.032, P <0. 05 ).(4) Accommodation was not positively corrected with ageN the depth of anterior chamber , pupillary size.
