Objective:To explore the relation between traditional Chinese medicine syndromes of coronary heart disease and C-reactive protein (CRP) and blood lipids. Methods:160 inpatients with coronary heart disease were divided into six groups based on traditional Chinese medicine syndromes. The level of CRP and blood lipids were tested in order to reveal the relation between traditional Chinese medicine syndromes and these markers.Result:The level of CRP in the group of fire evil syndrome was higher than those in other groups(P<0.05). The level of TCH, TG and LDL-C in the group of phlegm syndrome were higher than those in other groups(P<0.05).Conclusion: CRP was related to fire evil syndrome ; TCH, TG and LDL-C were related to phlegm syndrome.
