Clinic Study On Combine Traditional And Western Medicine Function Of Treating Optic Atrophy

Purpose: To observe combine traditional and western medicine function of treating optic atrophy.Methods: The 97 (149eyes) cases of optic atrophy patient dividing into two groups which is group I (acupuncture treatment) and group II ( combine traditional and western medicine treatment) at random. Compare in two kinds of treatment methods in many aspects, such as eyesight, field of vision, basic eyesight,VEP,etc.And analysis the influence of medical history to curative effect.Result: (1)Though both group I and group II ' s curative effects exceed 50%, group II significantly superior to group I (P<0.05) . (2) basic eyesight >.1 of both group's patients' curative effect is higher than basic eyesight< 0.1 patients (P,<0.01 P2<0.01) . (3)In the basic eyesight < 0.1patients ,no different curative effect between two groups (P1>0.05) .In the basic eyesight>0.1patients, group II superior to group I (P2<0.05). (4) In study about field of vision ,after combine traditional and western medicine the patients' average photosensitive increased(P<0.05), group II 's curative effect superiors to group I 's. (5) In study of P-VEP,the P100 wave delitescence shorten( P <0.05), N135 wave amplitude rised. In study of F-VEP, N3 and N4 wave's delitescence shorten( P <0.05). (6)Medical record has influence to curative effects,longer medical record and poorer curative effects.Conclusion:Combine traditional and western medicine treatment treat optic atrophy very effectual, its curative effect superior to simple acupuncture groups.
