Clinical And Experimental Study Of Effect On Gonad Of Nephritic Children With Warming Kidney And Invigorating Spleen And CTX

Object:To study warming kidney and invigorating spleen to the precautious effect of using Cydophosphamide(CTX) treating the children of Refractory Nephrotic Syndome(RNS) which arouses gonad to harm. Method:This article observed twenty-nine infantile Refractory Nephrotic Syndome who had used CTX and Chinese medicine of warming kidney and invigorating spleen. Through investigating their childbearing history,analysising sperm, assaing sexual hormones and examining the second sexual character and through experiment on animal, we evaluate the effect on gonad. Result:Patients' child bearing history, assaing sexual hormones and examining the second sexual character are normal. The seventeen patients, examining of analysinsing sperm are normal except for one patient arising sperm decreasing. Experiment on animal explains that warming kidney and invigorating spleen can abviously decrease the harm of CTX on rat spermary. Conclusion: warming kidney and invigorating spleen can decrease the effect of disease oneself to procreation function. At the same time, it possibly could avoid or decrease the harm of CTX on gonad from two directions which are dearing free radical and adjusting gonad axis.
