The Study On Therapy Of Unstable Angina By LUO Disease Theory

Objective: To discussion of LUO Disease Theory application in therapy of unstable angina. Methods: Review literature and observe clinical cases to understand the disease and type of TCM which UA belongs to, establish treatment methods of soufengtongluo according to basic mechanic of TCM; Fifty one patients of coronary heart disease (CHD) with unstable angina were divided randomly into treatment group (26 cases) and control group (25 cases). Conventional western medical therapy was given to both groups. At the same time, the treatment group received herbal medicine, clinical symptoms and laboratory indexes in all the patients were observed before and after treatment. Results: In the treatment group, the total effective rate of relieving angina improving ECG and meliorating symptoms were respectively 92.31%, 80.77% and 76.92%; the corresponding control group rate were respectively 64.00%, 48.00%, 48.00%, which were significantly better than those of later, P<0.05. The level of TC, TG, and Fbg were decreased remarkably in the treatment group, which were statistically different compared with those of the control group, P<0. 05 or P<0. 01. The level of TXB2, ET, were decreased and the level of NO was increased remarkably after treatment, which were statistically different compared with those before treatment. Conclusion: The theory of LUO disease has important application value in treating CHD with UA. Treatment method of Soufengtongluo has remarkably effect in this TCM type of Qixuxueyu of UA cases.
