Impact Of Vein Anaesthesia With Propofol Procaine On Content Of Methemogobin

Objective: Research of impact of vein anaesthesia with propofol procaine on content of methemoglobin. Method: choose 30 operation patients aging between 20 and 60 and weighing between 50 and 70 kg, without such medical history like diabetes, hyperpiesia, heart disease and blood disease, free from respiratory system disease, whose chemical examination prior to operation shall be normal and ASA shall be grade I to II. Divide those patients into three groups. The pre-operation medicines for the three groups of patients are all 1mg/kg dolantin+0.5mg/kg phenergan+5μg/kg hyoscine, and the anaesthesia induction medicines are etomidate 3mg/kg+vecuronium 0.1mg/kg +fentanyl 3μg/kg . Anaesthesia maintenance medicine:1st group: propopfol 4mg/kg/h +isoflurane venous absorption compound general aneasthesia; 2nd group: propopfol 2mg/kg/h +1% procaine 20mg/kg/h+isoflurane venous absorption compound general aneasthesia; 3rd group: 1% procaine 40mg/kg/h+isoflurane venous absorption compound general aneasthesia. Sample the dorsalis pedis blood before the operation and 10 minutes after the anaesthesia induction, at one hour, two hours and three hours of the aneasthesia maintenance. Measure the methemoglobin values with Switzerland manufactured blood gas analyzer---AVL OMNI9 MODULAR SYSTEM, observe changes of the methemoglobin of various groups and conduct statistical analysis as well as comparison with SPSS10.0. Conclusion: The research shows that the propofol has no impact on the methemoglobin, i.e., the methemoglobin value does not change with time extension; The procaine anaesthesia can increase the methemoglobin value and the methemoglobin value gradually goes up with extension of the operation, which presents obvious relativity with the dosage; At the beginning of venous general anaesthesia with propofol and procaine mixture, especially two hours at the anaesthesia maintenance, the methemoglobin value goes up, which, however, goes down a little bit lower than that at the second hour after the anaesthesis has maintained above three hours, thus presenting falling tendency.
