The Preliminary Research Of Syndrome Differentiating Law Of Chloasma

Objective: In order to explore the syndrome differentiating law of chloasma.Method: an epidemiological survey and a descriptive statistical method are put to use. Meanwhile X -test is taken to analyse the syndromes, the skin lesion and the related morbidity elements of 2000 cases of chloasma distributed in 10 cities and counties in Huaihua, Hunan; especially the relationship between various syndromes and indices.Results: (1) During the survey, 23 syndromes are found, which are related to 8 Zangfu: the heart, the liver, the spleen, the lung, the kidney, the gallbladder, the stomach and the large intestine. Of the 23 syndromes, the most common are disorder of hepatic qi, and hepatic stagnation causing splenic and renal deficiency, altogether 1000 cases (50%). Pathological changes implicate mainly the liver, the spleen and the kidney(67.9%, 28.4% and 40.35%). Asthenia syndromes are more common than sthenia ones and pyretic syndromes more common than cold ones. (2) There is a remarkable significance for the indices in the component comparison and difference of the syndromes.Conclusion: (1 )Chloasma syndromes are very wide-spread, which may be caused by the functional disturbance of the viscera, by coldheat, excess and deficiency,and by the loss of harmony of yin and yang, and qi and blood. And the main trouble exists in the liver, the spleen and the kidney; and the liver in particular. (2) In clinic, Chloasma syndromes are characteristic of different locations and colours of skin lesion. And the related morbidity elements are of importamce to differentiate chloasma syndromes. (3 ) Besides the traditional syndromes which can differentiate chloasma, there is another special dialectical laws. Now the statements above can be reduced to the following: (1)The skin locations can be found by observing the locations of skin lesion; (2)The coldheat, and the asthenia and sthenia can be detected by distinguishing the colours of skin lesion; (3)The causes of the disease can be determined by investigating the related morbidity elements; (4)The sin locations, the features and causes of the disease can be synthesized to define the syndromes.
