Objective: To investigate the changes of lipopolysaccharide receptor CD14 in early infection of severe acute pancreatitis and its significance and the correlation of CD14 and the changes of pancreatitis. Methods: 48 S-D rats were randomized into 2 groups:control(n=24), SAP(n=24).SAP were randomized into 4 groups:6(n=6),12(n=6),24(n=6),48(n=6)h and Control into 6(n=6),12(n=6),24(n=6),48h(n=6).The model of SAP was induced by retrograde injection of 5ï¼… sodium taurocholate into biliopancreatic duct in rats and Control was injected with 0.9ï¼… NS. the LPS,CD14+cell,amylase,infection of pancreat, PM,value change was observed in iso-group aniso-time and aniso-group iso-time.Results: The AMS activity in the serum in Group SAP is significantly higher than that in Group Control (P<0.05). The LPS activity in the serum in Group SAP is significantly higher than that in Group Control (P<0.05). There are significantly positive correlate between the level of LPS activity and PM.The LPS activity in the serum induced accordingly in SAP. The CD14+cell activity in the serum in Group SAP is significantly higher than that in Group Control (P<0.05). There are significantly positive correlate between the level of CD14+cell activity and PM.The CD14+cell activity in the serum induced accordingly in SAP,it has two max in 6h and 48h. The PM activity in the serum in Group SAP is significantly higher than that in Group Control (P<0.05). The PM activity in the serum induced accordingly in SAP. There are no differences in iso-group aniso-time of SAP and Control(p>0.05). Conclusion: In the early infection of SAP, the time that lps can be detected in plasam and CD14 cell gathered in pancreas were early than infection.Lps and CD14 cell can be a signal of prediction of SAP and a new way to tradegy of SAP.
