Myocardial infarction is a common disease seriously threatening human being's health. In clinic therapy, the universal methods include many traditional ways of physical reconstruction. Sometimes the heart transplantation is badly necessary. But there exist shortcomings in all these methods. The re-narrowness percent of 10-30%, the temporary effect, the high death ratio and the exorbitant expenditure, et al are all the indispensable negative considerations of these methods. As to the transplantation the heart, the lack of provider, exorbitant expenditure, chance contagion, incompatible reaction and the potential of transplanting-coronary heart disease are all the hidden dangers. So, the research of preventive giving medicines has been the focus of resesearches. How to effectively protect the functional cardio myocytes and accelerate their regenesis has become the emphasis of improving the long-term livability. In recent research, the small molecular saccharides such as FDP have attracted most of the concern. Illuminated by this, the chito-oligosaccharide and its derivatives are first applied in the research of anti-damage of cardio myocytes and are expected to screen out the valuable clinic medicine. In this essay, the chito-oligosaccharide and its derivatives were used on the acute damaged cardiac myocytes cultivated in vitro, damage producted by isoprotenenol. The results indicate that the carboxymethyl chito-oligosaccharide has the best protective effect with the concentration of 1000g/mL; N-acetyl glucosamine with the concentration of 1200g/mL and chito-oligosaccharide with the concentration of 800g/mL have good protective effect too. Then, chito-oligosaccharide and its derivatives were used on the acute myocardial histopathology aninal model producted by isoprotenenol in the Wistarrat. The protective effects were evaluated on the level of histology analysis, electronic microscope and LDH value. DNA Ladder demonstrates the apoptosis level of each group. The results indicate that the carboxymethyl chito-oligosaccharide has similar protective effect compared with the Propranolol, the positive medicine. All of the results indicate that the carboxymethyl chito-oligosaccharide has prominent protective effect on the infarct-like myocardial lesion and can prohibit the apoptosis of cardiac myocytes.
